From 1960, and located at 6202 Magnolia Avenue (at the intersection of Magnolia and Jurupa) in Riverside the store was owned by Ted Peckels, it closed around 1969 or 1970. The building is no longer there. the House of Note closed in the early ‘70s, and in 1978 Ted bought Coopers Action Music, down the road at 6511 Magnolia Avenue, which he operated until he passed away.
In late 1962, Ted's friend and business partner Chauncey Romero opened Redlands’ House of Note, with Ted's full support, located on 20 North Sixth, between State and Citrus.
